If you ordered yours from the same place as I ordered mine it did bloom out true. I was shocked at the size. Mine is on the 3rd scape.

There is always a credibility problem in buying dormant bulbs and
verification can sometimes take a year which is rather problematic in filing
a claim.

In bloom are several H. papilio crosses and a Crinum Super Ellen x Burbankii
cross just finished.
