What's the deal with both of these?

Hi Lyndon,
That looks similar to thrips damage to me on the amaryllis.
The Hippeastrum does have close colouring to Bagota but my Bagota does not
have as full petals.
I've attached a picture for comparison. Other Bagota's I've seen are closer
to mine.

Whatever it is you have, it is quite lovely.
