A Question for Haemanthus Experts

I wrote her privately, but mine behave like Paul's (in coastal northern
California). I just follow the pattern of the bulb, watering when there
are leaves (fall into winter) and occasionally after the plant goes
dormant. Mine flowered in July followed by leaves afterwards. As I have
discovered so often in the years I've been a member of this list, there
are often several ways to grow bulbs successfully.
