I'd like to request help in identifying the plant in the enclosed photos. I'm fairly certain it's in the lily family, but it's unlike anything I've ever seen. There are six plants at this site, and each one is about 4 feet tall and about 4 feet in diameter. The plants are apparently not maintained. They are located under a freeway overpass adjacent to a commercial service yard on the eastern edge of Los Angeles county. Thanks in advance for whatever information might be provided.
