It doesn't look anything like T. mortonii. I can't forward you a picture, but T. mortonii doesn't have the central markings of T. pavonia and is quite a bit smaller. I have to say that I bought seed of various species of Tigridia some years ago and they all turned out to be T. pavonia, so maybe Rareplants had the same experience. Diana Telos > I bought a bulb from Rareplants.co.uk which is supposed to be Tigridia mortonii. It bloomed for the first time today, and it really doesn't look a lot different than T. pavonia. I trust Rareplants, but it certainly doesn't look like the flower they pictured of it (If you Google Tigridia mortonii, the page they had of it comes up). Is there any real difference?Wylie > -------------- next part -------------- > A non-text attachment was scrubbed... > Name: DSC_4545.JPG > Type: image/jpeg > Size: 692049 bytes > Desc: not available > URL: <http://lists.pacificbulbsociety.net/pipermail/pbs/…> > -------------- next part -------------- > A non-text attachment was scrubbed... > Name: DSC_4542.JPG > Type: image/jpeg > Size: 684621 bytes > Desc: not available > URL: <http://lists.pacificbulbsociety.net/pipermail/pbs/…> > -------------- next part -------------- > A non-text attachment was scrubbed... > Name: DSC_4544.JPG > Type: image/jpeg > Size: 777808 bytes > Desc: not available > URL: <http://lists.pacificbulbsociety.net/pipermail/pbs/…> > _______________________________________________ > pbs mailing list > pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net > http://lists.pacificbulbsociety.net/cgi-bin/… _______________________________________________ pbs mailing list pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net http://lists.pacificbulbsociety.net/cgi-bin/…
