The UC Botanical Garden is nestled in a 34 acres valley in the Berkeley Hills, about a mile uphill from the University of California, Berkeley. It is home to more than 12,000 species of plants. This world class collection features plants from all parts of the world, specializing in cooler climate plants. The South African Section is where the majority of bulbs can be found, although the California Section, Mediterranean Section, and Central-South American sections also contain bulbs native to those areas.
