Piperia michaelii (Greene) Rydb. (syn. Platanthera michaelii) is known as Michael's rein orchid. It is endemic to California in the Sierra Nevada foothills, and some coastal areas in mostly woodland, forest or scrub habitats. The greenish flowers are fragrant at night.
