Orobanchaceae, the broomrape family, are a family of annual or perennial herbs in the order of Lamiales, consisting of about 2000 species in 90 genera. Nearly all members are to a certain degree parasitic on other plants, connecting via an underground haustorium to their root system. Some of them, especially in the central genus of Orobanche, but also Striga, pose a serious economical threat on agriculture, attacking a wide range of crops.
On the wiki, we have Lathraea.
