Jim Duggan

I live and garden in two places, in Southern California and Maui. I have a small nursery in both locations that help supply plants for my garden design work. In Southern California, at the Rancho Santa Fe site, I also maintain a large collection of South African Bulbs (and a smaller, yet growing collection of California Native Bulbs). The South African Bulbs have been long time passion, some 20 years, and I offer them through my mail order business, Jim Duggan Flower Nursery.

In the last few years I have been swept up in a study of Native Plants in San Diego County and the island of Maui. I am an avid hiker and roam the trails of San Diego’s backcountry and the slopes of Maui.
