Hedychium coronarium J.Koenig, known as the white butterfly ginger, is from the foothills of the Himalayas. It is a very fragrant white-flowered species that typically reaches 5-6 ft (1.8 m) in height and is hardy to zone 7. The first photo was taken by Alani Davis.
