Fritillaria yuminensis X.Z.Duan (syn. Fritillaria tachengensis X.Z.Duan & X.J.Zheng) is native to the northwestern part of Xinjiang Province in northwestern China. It was first described in 1981 by Duan Xian-Zhen.
A wonderfully informative document was produced by the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew entitled 637. FRITILLARIA YUMINENSIS by the authors Christine Leon, Michael F. Fay and Martyn Rix. It highlights the plants history and other fascinating details, as well as many botanical illustrations.
