Diastema Red Falls

Quick Characteristics:

Diastema sp. 'Red Falls' came from the Red Falls area in Ecuador. This species doesn't appear to yet have a name. It was introduced to cultivation around 2009 and has since spread around to home growers. The plant tends to stay small and has very small scaly rhizomes. It prefers cool and humid conditions to do well. The photos below were taken by J. Schofield.
