I live near Cincinnati, Ohio and have been seriously gardening for about 5-10 years now. My passions are native wild flowers (especially those of local genotype) and irises (including irids). My homepage is located at http://www.badbear.com/dkramb and my Iris Species Database is located at SIGNA
My main reason for joining PBS is to acquire information & specimens of the new world irids as well as those from Australia & New Zealand. My most exciting acquisition is a local genotype, Iris brevicaulis, from a bog about 10 miles from my house. The property now belongs to the Nature Conservancy due to it's unique flora & fauna. Anyway, I intend to propagate this iris & distribute it since most Louisianas (Hexagonaes) on the market today are from far more southerly climes. This one should be useful for "colder" gardens.
