Allium subvillosum Salzm. ex Schult. & Schult.f. is a Mediterranean species flowering from March to May and growing on sandy beaches and fields from Greece to Portugal and North Africa. It is a tall species with many white flowers in a wide umbel. Height: to about 40 cm. Photos by Mary Sue Ittner and Bob Rutemoeller. The last one shows bulbs on a 1 cm grid.
