After looking at the wonderful book created by Ian, I want some but first…..are these winter hardy in Chicago (zone 5)? I have some of the indigenous “dog tooth violets” as we call them and they seem to manage ok in the ground without any special considerations. If they survive our winters, where is a good source to add a few to my wild corner.
