Joanne Gerson wrote to the old PBS list ============================================= Chadd Recently I had the pleasure to visit Spring Valley Nursery at Yankee Hill near Chico. There were red and yellow lycoris in bloom in a garden under pine and other trees. Dave the owner does not baby his plants at all except for insulating them with leaves against the cold. I'm sorry I can't give you his last name or address but they are at the Chico Farmers Market on Saturdays from 7 to 1 every week. Maybe you'll find them on the Web.
