Thanks for the replies, Fred and Alani.

I suspect that Ellen Bosanquet or a look-alike is better suited to my
climate than Cinthro Alpha, so I'm not displeased. I wonder if this was
just a one-off error in the packing, or if Costco's supplier uses the same
bag and photo for whatever cultivar they happen to have available in
quantity.

you follow. Its got its own complicated history. What you got does look a
lot like Ellen B. though there are a few look a likes so I can't say for
sure.
