Jane, do you know how long it typically takes for it to show up on US Amazon? I’ve ordered books and videos from UK Amazon before and the shipping was minimal for an overseas shipment IMO. Usually I’ve order from UK Amazon because the book or video was unavailable in the US. A couple of times it was available in the US, but even with the shipping cost factored in, it was still cheaper. The book’s list price is £40. UK Amazon is offering it for £36 plus £7 shipping to the US. At today’s conversion rate, £43 is US$55.76. That’s cheaper than what everyone else has mentioned. They’re out of stock right now but will ship as soon as it becomes available. It didn’t take more than a week the previous times I’ve ordered from them, but during these pandemic times, it might take longer. (However, I recently ordered a set of bento boxes that my wife wanted for her birthday and they were shipped from Japan via DHL. The shipping charges were US$20. I got a text on a Tuesday morning that they had been shipped. According to the tracking information, they arrived at the Osaka Airport on Tuesday evening Japan time, were scanned at LAX Tuesday afternoon PDT, and showed up on my doorstep Wednesday morning PDT. This is the fastest delivery I’ve ever gotten from overseas and it was way cheaper than global overnight express and the box was approx. 60 cm x 40 cm x 40 cm and about 5 or 6 pounds in weight.) I’m tempted to order the book from UK Amazon unless there really might be a joint PBS order, in which case, I can wait and join in with that. --Lee Poulsen Pasadena, California, USA - USDA Zone 10a Latitude 34°N, Altitude 1150 ft/350 m > On Sep 16, 2020, at 3:48 PM, Jane McGary via pbs <pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net> wrote: > > All the offerings listed on Bookfinder are outside the USA.
