I received seed of Streptolirion volubile, a climbing member of the Commelinaceae, several years ago through the NARGS seed exchange. It outgrew its pot, flowered rapidly, and died. A year passed, but this spring a few seeds have sprouted in the old pot. Does anyone know if Streptolirion volubile is perennial, how hardy it is, or what sort of root storage organ (if any) it's supposed to make? There's very little information available online. I'm starting seed this year of Aneilema aequinoctiale, another Commelinid, has anyone here grown it? -joe in SW VA where we just had a record 10" rain event, followed by oppressive humidity! _______________________________________________ pbs mailing list pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net http://lists.pacificbulbsociety.net/cgi-bin/…
