Diana, You can report domain registrars to ICANN and threatening to do (name dropping ICANN in your email) may get you some traction. And once that issue is resolved, you should definitely transfer your registration. Unreliable registrars make transfers difficult and tedious and there tends to be a high rate of "errors" that prevent the process from working smoothly - so be ready to see it through. Good luck! ________________________________ From: pbs <pbs-bounces@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net> on behalf of Diana Chapman via pbs <pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net> Sent: Tuesday, May 26, 2020 5:55 AM To: pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net <pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net> Cc: Diana Chapman <rarebulbs@suddenlink.net> Subject: [pbs] Telos Rare Bulbs I have been swamped with inquiries asking if I am still in business. I renewed my domain about ten days ago. The company, Mister.net, has not processed the renewal. This outfit did this last year also, and my web site was down for over a week. I have tried to get the EPP code from them so that I can transfer to another company, but they do not answer my e-mails, so basically are holding me hostage. I spent a month last year trying to transfer until I gave up, and now am in the same situation again. Checking with the Better Business Bureau, there are numerous complaints of a similar nature. If anyone can tell me how to get the EPP code from this outfit so that I can register with a different host, please let me know, I would be most grateful.
