Maybe PBS moves to a pay-before-ship option like every other on-line retailer, if this is a big deal. Just tell me what I win and I'll show the paypal payment for it to the BX OR SX volunteer, who then ships it out. Someone who doesn't pay promptly? The items get reassigned to the next waiting in line... Is that increased step of providing an invoice to me before shipping (by the volunteers) less work in the long run than the current effort of collection on past due BX or SX? I don't know how severe this is... It's actually zero more work on my side to pay before the shipment as it is to pay afterward.
