Switching Hemispheres

For those of you interested in the bulb offer, I once wrote an article 
for Bulbs summarizing information people suggested for dealing with 
bulbs ordered from another hemisphere. You can find it here:

on Page 35. I was able to turn around a number of bulbs, but not always. 
Some are easier than others and when they arrive in their cycle makes a 
big difference. Cameron and Rhoda McMaster knew when was the best time 
to send them and I had the best results ordering from them.

Stan Farwig who along with his partner had a fabulous bulb collection 
before the great freeze once wrote a wonderful article about growing 
bulbs that addresses some of this. I used to reread it every year, but 
haven't for awhile. It's long, but I think is worth a read.
