All, I sent a report and many photos to Leigh, and she says many of the things shown are probably alive, especially the larger things. Looks can be deceiving with the Scadoxus and others. Please plant everything! You have nothing to lose and sometimes things take a while to sprout in the northern hemisphere. For example, I got a tiny Albuca viscosa, that looked like a little wad of tissue paper. it is now putting out roots. Leigh knows who reported what and she will go through all the orders and provide some further guidance. But again, please don't throw anything away - put in a small pot and give it a chance. This is going to be a learning experience on many levels.
