Hello, everyone
The colchicum I received as C. tenorii from McClure & Zimmerman is
definitely not C. cilicicum as implied in the BX listing. It may be 'Pink
Star,' it may be x byzantinum, it may be what the monograph has decided to
name C. x ambiguum. It's very vigorous which is why I have donated many
corms. If you're not picky about the name it's a good garden plant, grows
well in my clay soil in upstate NY, currently zone 5.
