Drimia maritima bulb rot - from above!

I love that idea, Nan! I think I'll try it. I've never done any
chipping/scaling, so this seems like a good opportunity.

But if I get lazy, maybe I'll just follow Bob's advice and dust a little
fungicide in there and hope for the best. A drainage slot does seem like a
good option as well.
