Nice place to work with. I am zone 9 and can't vouch for hardiness but would think some obvious choices would be water lilies, aroids like skunk cabbage, Acorus cultivars, Crinum americanum, Hymenocaulis caribaea, Wachendorfia (not really a bulb, but...), Colocasia...
