Problems with Neomarica caerulea

I am surprised that yours is suffering. Neomarica caerulea is one of the toughest plants in my San Diego area garden, where temperatures in winter fall to -5 C on occasion and I never see leaves yellowing. I do grow mine in full sun, though and water sparingly both in the pot and in the ground. Mine don’t get any fertilizer, though those in the ground are mulched. I’ve planted them into client gardens where they get part day sun and they just grow and grow and grow. Have you taken yours out of the pot to see if the plant is root bound or if there is something obviously wrong with the roots? You might also move it to a larger pot just to see if that makes a difference.
