Dear All, Last autumn I bought a box of Dutch Freesia hybrid bulbs in 5 different colors. Single flowered as I do not like doubles. Except for the white one which probably is a good tetraploid, single flowered and very fragrant, all of the others came out as doubles and not true to color, often with different colors. I have had this problem before with bulbs of Dutch provenance. My question: does anybody have used seed of double freesia? Would the seedlings turn out to be all doubles? Or is there a chance to get a certain percentage of single flowered ones? I would be happy to wait and select if there would be a good chance to get single flowered ones. Thank you very much in advance, Bye for now Uli _______________________________________________ pbs mailing list pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net http://lists.pacificbulbsociety.net/cgi-bin/…
