Tim, Not knowing where you live, I can't tell for sure as some of these are not hardy every where. As I understand ’Super Ellen’ is not self fertile and my plant in Kansas City has grown here for over a decade and never produced a seed even with hand pollination attempts. I suspect you live in a mild climate if you grow this in an above ground pot so that’s the end of my guesses. It is however very beautiful.
