About Crinum macowanii Dear Erika, Me too, I have been growing it in pots for many years in southern Catalunya. It blooms easily, 2 , 3 stems and give lots of big seeds. The only thing I do , it is to let it dry totally in winter outside in a dry spot and then to bring it back in a sunny place and water it till next winter! It has not come out of dormancy this year which perplexes me. The bulb is very much alive. We had a cooler May and June but both July and August have been warm. Similarity my Brunsvigia grandiflora came out of dormancy only about 2 weeks ago while B. radulosa looks super. Does anyone have any explanation for this? I’m dumbfounded!
