Hi Jim, I have one outside that has survived for about four years but hasn’t bloomed—it appeared as a volunteer and isn’t in a very good location. I meant to put one in a sunnier spot with better soil but ended up planting a bright red Sinningia ‘Towering Inferno’ instead. This is the first winter for ‘Towering Inferno’, so fingers crossed that it is as hardy as S. sellovii. I've grown this for several years now, and it's a real favorite. It can be wintered in a cold frame, or if it's grown in a pot, just let it dry out for the winter. Nick, have you tried this one as a garden plant? I mean left outside all year? I'm tempted to try it here in zone 7 Maryland. _______________________________________________ pbs mailing list pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net http://lists.pacificbulbsociety.net/cgi-bin/…
