Like Martin, I am in Europe and have put in some orders before the 29th
March. No one has any idea what is going to happen and whilst "No Deal" is
unlikely I think anything is possible.
I have a large number of bulbs, but also shrubs, herbaceous plants+ and
fruit trees, so My needs are for a broad range of plants/bulbs which
hitherto I have obtained from dealers in the UK and had sent out.
What i have done is to explore what other specialist suppliers there are in
Europe. There seem to be some in Spain, Netherlands, Hungary and perhaps
other places. The Mediterranean Garden Society is a good source of
information. The whole Brexit issue is a disaster turned into a crisis,
but I think for those of us in Europe we need to find new sources...

Hi Martin, As my first plant love is orchids my friends and I are already
getting emails from nurseries from Europe, Asia and South America telling
us that with a hard Brexit they will no longer come to the UK. Regards

I know of a few specialist nurseries that you could look up or contact
for
help. I am an alpine grower and shower and these are some of the
nurseries
who bring specialities to our many U.K. shows.
They are as follows:
Potterton's in Lincolnshire, Aberconway nursery in North Wales, Parham
Bungalow Plants in Wiltshire, Edron Nursery in Scotland, Slack Top
Nursery in Yorkshire,
Kevock Gardens in Scotland.
I hope this is of some help to you.
Kind regards,

Subject: [pbs] Brexit Farewell order
Hi list,
I guess many gardeners across Europe are painfully aware of the big loss
we're facing with possibly loosing access to British mail order
nurseries. I've lost faith in politics to find an acceptable solution
and so I'm preparing for a worst case hard Brexit on March 29th. I've
already placed farewell orders at rareplants.co.uk and Crûg Farm. What
other British Nurseries can you recommend to check before the dreaded
date?
