REGARDING: From Jim Waddick 29. Crinum bulbispermum 'Jumbo’ seeds These seeds germinate very quickly when ripe. They need to be planted as soon as possible. Press the large seeds into damp soil or sand, but do not bury as they need light. Wait until a leaf has emerged then plant in good potting soil and completely cover the seedling. This has been totally hardy in Kansas City (Zone 5/6) for decades, but I protect the first year seedlings froim harsh winter temperatures the first winter, Plant out next season. Easy.
