Pancratium sickenbergeri bloom & Crinum lugardiae question

All,

Al contacted me with further information on the Z. drummondii. He received
it from JC Raulston Arboretum as Z. drummondii San Carlos form, which is
abnormally large. I wonder if the abnormal size would make it hardier than
the original?

The flower still hasn't opened the rest of the way yet, I guess it will be
another four or five hours. It is open just enough that a bee could climb
in there and get busy, but not enough to see much.

Any input on the Crinum lugardiae?

Thanks,

Mike
