Very interesting pics. I believe that the sand in which these bulbs grow is of an acidic nature (quartz?). Are there more detailed data on the characteristics of these soils? For some years I prefer to use mineral soils for the cultivation of succulents and bulbs of the South African deserts and I seem to get good results. Knowing the chemical composition of minerals could be useful. I'm also interested in the cultivation of Bulbine from seed and I already have a small interesting collection, but I can't find the seeds (plants) of many of the known species, apart Koheres (Germany) and Bulbophile (RSA). Every suggestion is very appreciated. Andrea Cattabriga © *Mondocactus* di Cattabriga Andrea p. iva IT-02880701202 Aut. Reg. n. 3812 29/4/2013 Aut.
