Hi all, I guess most international seed trading is already in /unintended /underground - seeds are mostly small if you're not growing coconuts, travel with ordinary letter post and unless there's a big print from the seed company on it, how could inspectors identify the envelopes? This may actually be one of the reasons for all of that non- information: regulators had no dependable numbers on how much small package seed is traveling around, and sellers and customers have only a small chance to actually run into trouble. I have a feeling this unsatisfying situation will continue for quite a while, mostly punishing those who want to comply and leaving most of the others unscathed. Indeed unsatisfying to say the least.
