Dear PBSers- Several months ago I wrote to you about saving seed from S,. madeirensis and mentioned I planned to cover the pods with muslin bags to avoid losing the seed. I did this and the pods are fast ripening and now I need your advice about what to do from here. I will plant in the fall here in Arizona. What is the best way to store the pods? I have not broken apart any of the dry pods and am not even certain they contain numerous seeds per pod or whether the pod is the seed itself. I've grown many bulbs from seed but this one confounds me and some of you said you have experience. Please share. Thanks so much. All best, Pamela Slate _______________________________________________ pbs mailing list pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net http://lists.pacificbulbsociety.net/cgi-bin/…
