Urginia and Amaryllis

Drool!

These things aren't about to grow in Massachusetts, but the Lycoris
squamigera makes a decent fake. As for the ghostly white Urginia spires,
my giant bugbanes give something of the same thrill and are seven feet
high. They flowered last month and are about over now.

Too bad we can't grow everything everywhere!
