Many of us have bulb books we no longer use very much. PBS might also run a book sale to benefit the society, or some other good cause, if members would like to donate books. I would. I would, too. Unfortunately, I donated many books to the local library 7 years ago when I downsized. At this time, I have what probably will be considered "general" or "beginner" books, but everyone starts somewhere, right? Finding the Brian Mathew books today is very difficult, and I've seen "The Crocus" offered for more than $200. I use my copy (bought at the time of publication) all the time. The same goes for his book on Iris. It's true that the Bowles books are out of date, but they're enjoyable to read. Many of us have bulb books we no longer use very much.
