Globba bulbils (was for konjac fans)

Hi Tim,
Good to know Globba winitii does not make bulbils. I saw in
PBS-Photographs and fallen in love ! Perhaps someone can help with one or
two small tubers. I am here in the foothills of Sikkim Himalayas and many
Zingiberaceae do wonderfully well. Right now Z.spectabile- Beehive Ginger-
is in their superbest ! Gives copious seeds in December if someone is
interested. But be aware one must have patience for 6-8 months to see them
germinating and 5-7 years to bring them to flower! Bought the plants in
KL, Malaysia from a nurseryman -way off the main road-while attending the
World Orchid Conference in 2002. Cheers- Keshab [keshabcp@gmail.com]
