PBS members grow many species, and among members, participate in just about every seed exchange possible. As a member of Society for Pacific Coast Native Iris, I’ve worked on the sales and support side of annual seed exchanges since 2009. This year, we’ve had numerous instances of poor behavior on the part of participants, and I wonder if it’s a widespread change in behavior seen in many members of plant societies, or if SPCNI is simply having an anomalous and rocky year? I’d also like to know if any other gardening groups have gone to alternate year seed sales. Cheers, Kathleen
