Hi Leo, Guess this is just another example of why one should not be too hasty to throw out pots of ungerminated seed (or recycle the soil after you've waited a couple of years. Rock gardeners know this well, colchicums are reputed to be notorious for germinating years after planting. Glad you got H. vaginata back in your collection, who knows maybe another one will decide to sprout next fall.
