To be fair, Peonies, daylillies, lily of the valley, and even geraniums are sold alongside lilies, ixia, Crocosmia, and other "summer bulbs". The newcomer may want to look to the PBS wiki to know how to grow them. The genera above are certainly handled like bulbs, though not truly defined as "bulbs".
