Hi Jim, When we first heard that the IBS was closing its doors, we had the same concerns that the gallery of many photos will be gone along with the society. Mike Mace made contact with the then president to ask what will happen to the gallery. He said that he was going to try and keep the gallery online and has local copies of it and will try to get it going. I don't think we got very far with trying to get it hosted on PBS. The important thing to remember is that apart from a few rare species of amaryllids, our wiki has much better representation, newer photos, and better resolution. Pursuing the old IBS gallery is not an effort that the PBS Wiki team can afford at the moment due to various issues including negotiations, copyright, and time. If you ever need to look up anything from the IBS, I would suggest using the Way Back Machine as suggested in the other post.
