Thanks, Lee. Now I know to pack more than shorts and t-shirts if I'm ever lucky enough to visit that area during the cool season.
Now for an obvious follow-up question: is there any evidence that this cool period has any effect on inducing bloom in Worsleya? Their neighbors, the Schlumbergera cactuses I mentioned, are known to respond to a drop in temperature (under the right light conditions) by initiating flower bud formation.
