Tony -
I got a chance to grow Zephyranthes flavissima from wild collected seed but
they were not particularly unique different. I go them to flower a couple
years but have since lost the group

Very interesting about Zephyranthes flavissima. There seems to be only
one clone in commerce (no idea where it originated), and it is a poor
performer and never sets viable seed. Do you know of any one that has
grown this from seed and if there is much variability to the seedlings?

Zephyranthes flavissima in the wild used to grow in the equivalent of zone
10 citrus belt. Z. grandiflora is from zone 10 in Mexico. Bulb hardiness
depends on wether the pots are in a plunge bed or exposed to cold air.
