Back in June of this year I received through BX 334 seeds of Moraea polystachya and Tigridia vanhouttei. Both were new to me. I planted these promptly along with seeds of several Zephyranthes, some from BX 333 and some home grown. The Zephyranthes seeds germinated promptly, the Tigridia seeds took a bit longer but eventually provided a nice tuffet of seedlings. Some other irids from this sowing also soon germinated well. But the pot of Moraea polystachya remained barren month after month. During September I had other things to deal with and hardly saw the garden at all. When I checked the pots recently, the pot of Moraea polystachya was full of seedlings. Some of you are probably saying "and right on schedule!".
