I am in wholehearted agreement here! I have to garden with wild boar and deer and it is not easy but I would not have it any other way! I love sharing this space with all the other creatures. Endless hours of pleasure. Salamanders and glow-worms are a particular joy as the were all but extinct in England. My father used to talk wistfully of them. I was so excited when I saw them here! This is half of the fun of gardening for me, being in intimate contact with all this life. It is a challenge at times but then as Henk Gerritsen said it is like "playing chess with Nature".
