I have a not-amazonica Eucharis that I've grown for many years without flowering. During the growing season I've babied them with lots of fertilizer, frequent watering and lots of heat. The plant offsets well. I give some of the containers a dry winter rest outside in my carport. Last winter I lost the ones outside because they got too cold. In all this time no flowering from any of the containers. I gave a single bulb to my mother in southern California. She put it on her kitchen windowsill and watered it as though it were a normal houseplant. In a little over a year hers bloomed. Mine has still not bloomed. So I recommend you ship your plant to my mom. Leo Martin Phoenix Arizona USA
