The images don't have references for scale, but I agree the bulbs looks about basketball size. I would say that this size is similar to , though smaller, than the largest Brunsvigia josephinae I've seen (though I doubt I have seen the largest possible). Even at this size, though, Tim's observation of a 20" diameter Crinum bulbispermum still beats it.
